Baltimore County Police have charged a 50-year-old Lansdowne man in the attempted murder of his son, after police found the teen with a stab wound at their home Saturday morning. Charles V. Palmer, of the 600 block of Washington Avenue, is charged with first-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, first-degree child abuse and other related charges, according to a police press release. He is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. Baltimore County Police have taken an adult into custody in connection with the stabbing of a juvenile. At 9:30 a.m., Baltimore County Police and Fire officials responded to a reported stabbing at a home in the 600 block of Washington Avenue in Lansdowne. When they arrived, they found a juvenile with a large stab wound in his neck, according to a press release. The victim is a 14-year-old male, according to Baltimore County Public Safety’s Twitter. An adult male is in custody but has not been officially charged, police said. The juvenile was transferred to the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and police believe he will survive, the release said. The incident is still under investigation.

Baltimore County Police have charged an Annapolis man with murder in the death of Owings Mills resident Katie Hadel. Jeffrey Michael Shiflett, 33, of the 1700 block of Saint Margarets Road in Annapolis, is charged with one count of first-degree murder, according to a Baltimore County Police press release. He was arrested without incident Wednesday morning shortly after 11 a.m. when an officer spotted him walking on the street in the Reisterstown area, police said. He is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. Baltimore County police arrested two men last week in the Sept. 30, 2009, stabbing death of Rodney Lewis in his Randallstown home. On Jan. 2, police arrested Eric Isaiah Johnson, according to a news release. Then, on Jan. 3, police arrested Leonard Briscoe. Both have been charged with first-degree murder. At about 4 p.m. Sept. 30, 2009, officers went to the Lewis' residence in the 9500 block of Liberty Road. During their investigation, police found out that Johnson was staying with Lewis and Lewis' wife. (UPDATED) -- A man was hospitalized after an unknown assailant allegedly stabbed him in the neck at a gas station in Catonsville Saturday, said Baltimore County Police Detective Cathleen Batton. WBAL first reported on the incident. Police are looking for the suspect who approached the victim a little after 9 p.m. while he was pumping gas at the Sunoco on the 6100-block of Edmondson Ave. in Catonsville, according to police.
