Robert Jarrett, the Elkridge man charged with killing his wife and burying her body under a shed in his backyard, was indicted on May 9 on first-degree murder charges. Jarrett was charged April 19 with first- and second-degree murder in the death of his first wife, Christine Jarrett, whom he reported missing in January 1991. According to police, Jarrett reported that the couple got into an argument and his wife left and never returned to their residence on Claire Drive, according to charging documents.
