UPDATE: Help Police Find Douglas France

Douglas France, 81, who was missing from St. Agnes Lane in Gwynn Oak, has been found, Baltimore County police said Tuesday night.

UPDATE (10:34 p.m.) Douglas France, 81, walked away from his home at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday morning wearing a light green, baseball-style cap with a veteran's insignia and a pin, a brown plaid windbreaker jacket, tan shirt and dress pants. And he went missing most of the day, a news release from Baltimore County police states. However, by nighttime, he had been found. "Good news: Mr. Douglas France has returned home, alive and well," according to a tweet at 10:15 p.m. by Baltimore County, @BACOPoliceFire. Original Story Police need help finding France, a 5-foot-10 inch, 81-year-old man who has dementia. His home is in the 1100 block of St. Agnes Lane in Gwynn Oak. Teen Shot in Gywnn Oak Treated and Released

A 15-year-old was shot during a robbery on Dec. 29, according to Baltimore County Police.

A 15-year-old male was treated and released for a gunshot wound he suffered during a robbery, Baltimore County Police said. Just before 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29., Baltimore County Police responded to an incident near Windsor Mill Road and Meadowview Drive in Gwynn Oak, where they found a 15-year-old male with one gunshot wound to his upper body. The teen told police he was shot during a robbery by two suspects, according to a Baltimore County Police press release. The 15-year-old has since been treated for his injuries and released. Police searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspects, the release said.

Gwynn Oak Man Gets Life for Woodlawn Murder

Antoine Reed was sentenced for a 2008 murder at Hunter's Crossing Apartments.

Antoine M. Reed Jr. was sentenced Tuesday in Baltimore County Circuit Court to life without parole in the 2008 shooting death of a Woodlawn apartment complex manager, according to a news release from the State's Attorney's office. Judge John J. Nagle III sentenced Reed, of Gwynn Oak, in the death of Milton Barnes, the manager of the Hunter's Crossing Apartments complex. Reed was convicted by a jury in August of first-degree murder and unlawful use of a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence . Barnes, "was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the head on June 24, 2008," according to the news release. Barnes reportedly "had been having difficulties with an employee."
