UPDATE: Police Identify Man Killed in Towson Area Shooting
Police believe the victim was shot inside an apartment in the 7000 block of Lachlan Circle.
(Update 2:04 p.m.)—Police have identified a man who was killed in a Sunday night shooting as 27-year-old Alsawab Sawab. Police believe Sawab was shot inside his apartment in the 7000 block of Lachlan Circle, according to a statement from Cpl. Cathy Batton, a Baltimore County Police Department spokeswoman. A resident who lives in the same block called police shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday to report that a man suffering from a gunshot wound was outside the caller's home. Police and fire crews found the man, who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said in a statement Sunday night. Police have ruled the incident a homicide and are continuing to investigate. Stay with Patch for updates on this story.
