Between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. April 30. A burglar broke a sliding glass door lock to get into a home and steal TVs; video game consoles, games and controllers; a laptop computer and cash. Burglars cut a fence Sunday to get into Barton Distillery, where they stole copper. At 6:29 p.m., two men came onto the property at 2200 Monumental Ave. in Arbutus, and stole the copper items, according to a report by Baltimore County police. A security guard confronted them, and they ran, it states The pair is described as white men in their 40s, who are each about 5-foot-8. One weighs about 220 pounds and wore camouflage coveralls, a tan shirt and hat, according to the report. The second man wore similar clothing, it states.

A juvenile was arrested Wednesday after being charged with fourth-degree burglary of an Arbutus home. At 5:10 p.m., a woman who resides in the 5600 block of Selford Road, heard a knocking sound and found the burglar inside her home, according to a report by Baltimore County police. The burglar had come in through the back, sliding door, and then left, the report states. The suspect is allegedly a "friend of the victim's stepson," and was later arrested.

The county police are searching for a man involved in a Catonsville burglary and want help finding him. A resident came back to his home in the 600 block of North Bend Road and found a man trying to break into the front door. When the resident confronted the suspect, the suspect ran, according to police. However, the resident was able to take a picture of the burglar with his cell phone. Police are looking for a black male, 40 to 50 years old, and about 5-foot-8. He weighs about 220 pounds. Police say the man was seen carrying a set of hedge trimmers or bolt cutters with a blue nylon bag. Police ask anyone with information about a possible suspect in the case to call 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-756-2587.

Nov. 3: Between 4-5 p.m., an unknown person entered a yard on the 2900 block of Georgia Ave. in Baltimore Highlands and took a purple Mongoose bike. Nov. 6: Between 3:30-7:40 p.m., an unknown person forced open the front door of a residence on the 4400 block of Alan Dr. in Arbutus, took a laptop computer, a video game system and an undisclosed amount of money.
K9 used to apprehend suspects who entered a vacant house on the 200 block of Clyde Ave. to "look around," according to police.
Four people were charged with burglary on Oct. 27 after breaking into a house on the 200 block of Clyde Ave. in Landowne in order to "look around," according to a police report. At 3:37 a.m., police K9 units were deployed to help apprehend the suspects in the house, the report said. A bathroom door inside the house was destroyed, according to police. Oct. 31: At some time since 2 p.m. of the previous day, an unknown person tried to enter a business on the 1440 block of Joh Ave. in Violetville through an overhead door, but did not gain entry to the premises. Oct. 31: At around 6:40 a.m., a resident on the 100 block of Second Ave. in Lansdowne saw two suspects enter the yard of a neighbor and attempt to take a generator, but ran off when confronted. Nov. 1: Between 9-9:42, an unknown susect broke the rear glass door of a business on the 1400 block of Rome Ave. in Violetville, but no items were missing.
Lorne Edan Stockton, 30, of the unit block of Stonecroft Rd., charged after smashing drive-thru window of pharmacy on Oct. 29.
As superstorm Sandy bore down on the region during the early hours of Oct. 29, Lorne Edan Stockton decided to pick up a few things at the CVS Pharmacy on the 3900 block of Hollins Ferry Rd. in Lansdowne. A couple of problems: CVS was closed at the time, and according to a police report, Stockton entered the store by smashing out the drive-thru window. At around 12:41 a.m., the 30-year-old Stockton destroyed the drive-thru window of the store by undisclosed means, then entered the pharmacy and began placing drugs in a trash can, according to the police report. Stockton was interrupted by a patrol car arriving at the scene, and attempted to flee on foot but was caught shortly afterward, the report said. Stockton, who lives in the unit block …
