Baltimore Highlands Man Charged in Flea Market Assault

Man hit in chest with rubber mallet when fight broke out between motorcycle gangs at North Point Flea Market.

A Baltimore Highlands man is one of two suspects facing charges after a fight broke out between motorcycle gangs at the North Point Flea Market on Sunday, Nov. 11, according to police. Shortly after 1 p.m., officers responded to a report of a fight at the flea market, located on the 2400 block of North Point Blvd., police said in a release. During the fight, a member of the Demon Souls Motorcycle Club was struck in the chest with a rubber mallet, according to police. The 52-year-old victim, a resident of the Dundalk area, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. First-degree assault charges were dropped against Steven Paul Neubauer, Jr.

UPDATED (April 18, 2010)—Two counts of first-degree assault were dropped against a Sykesville man. Steven Paul Neubauer faced the two charges in relation to a Sept. 17 incident in Arbutus. Men Threatened With Handgun in Arbutus

Warrant issued for 22-year-old Relay resident who pointed gun at victims on Sept. 17.

A warrant has been issued for a Relay man who threatened two victims with a handgun on Sept. 17, according to a police report. At around 10 p.m., two male victims, who both live on Linden Avenue, were confronted by a man in the vicinity of Linden and Talbot Place, according to police. The suspect pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at them and said, "I'll kill you if you come back into my neighborhood," the report said. After assaulting the victims, the suspect fled the scene in his vehicle, according to police. A warrant was issued for the 22-year-old suspect, who lives on the 5700 block of Richardson Mews in Relay, according to the police report. Man Charged in Riverview Assault

Ezekiel Dunston Mercer, 56, of the 3100 block of Freeway, charged with first-degree assault.

A Riverview man was charged with assault on Aug. 18 after a fight at the residence of his former girlfriend, according to police. At around 2 p.m., police said, 56-year-old Ezekiel Dunston Mercer, of the 3100 block of Freeway Rd., went to his former girlfriend's residence on the 3300 block of Bero Rd. in order to retrieve some property. Mercer argued with the woman's current boyfriend at the Bero Road address, which escalated into a fight, police said. According to police, Mercer stabbed the 37-year-old male victim in the upper arm with an eight-inch military-style knife. The victim suffered a minor laceration, and an ambulance was not requested, according to police. Mercer was charged with first-degree assault, according to police.

Police Seek Assault Suspect

Police are looking for a man who choked his ex-girlfriend until she was unconscious.

Police are searching for a man who allegedly choked his ex-girlfriend and then fled, according to a Baltimore County Police report. Romanito Amar Sario, of the unit block of Carling Circle, and the woman met at 9:15 p.m., July 9, at the corner of Hollins Ferry and Bero Roads, according to the report. Police say the two met to discuss a paternity test. Sario, 24, allegedly choked and punched the 21-year-old woman until she was unconscious, according to the report. The incident warrants a first-degree assault charge, according to police. No arrests have been made, police spokesperson Cathy Batton said. Riverview Man Charged in Assault on Neighbor

Tony Lee White, 32, of the 900 block of Catawba Court, was charged in a July 8 incident.

A July 8 altercation between neighbors in Riverview resulted in a woman suffering a severe laceration and her alleged attacker being charged with first-degree assault, according to police. Shortly after midnight, Tony Lee White, 32, of the 900 block of Catawba Court, began banging on the door of a female neighbor, police said. The woman called two male friends, who came over to assist and began to verbally argue with White, according to police. Police said the argument escalated to a physical assault. White allegedly hit the victims and threw a table that struck the woman who lived at the residence, according to police. Police said White was allegedly armed with a knife. Road Rage Leads to Assault in Riverview

31-year-old Baltimore Highlands man beaten, sent to Shock Trauma on July 4.

A road rage incident led to the assault of a 31-year-old Baltimore Highlands man on July 4, according to police. At around 10:35 p.m., the victim had an encounter with two people in a red minivan at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Hollins Ferry Road in Riverview, police said. The two people in the minivan, a male and a female, assaulted the victim, resulting in bruises and lacerations of the face and injuries to both knees and elbows, according to police The victim, who resides on the 4300 block of Baltimore Street, was transported to Univesity of Maryland's Shock Trauma Center.

Police Fired Upon in Lansdowne

An unmarked vehicle was struck by a bullet, but no officers were hurt in early Sunday morning incident, according to police.

  Baltimore County police officers were the target of gunfire early Sunday morning while on a plainclothes burglary enforcement detail in Lansdowne, authorities said. At around 3:30 on June 24, three officers in an unmarked vehicle approached the intersection of Lorena and Smith avenues where they saw four suspicious people, police said. As the vehicle approached the intersection, at least one of the people opened fire at the officers, Baltimore County police spokesperson Elise Armacost said. The vehicle was struck by at least one bullet, but none of the officers was injured, according to police. Arbutus Man Faces Assault Charges for Stabbing "Longtime Friend"

Andre Lamont Mitchell, of the 5600 block of Selford Rd. charged after an incident outside of the Brunswick Zone in Ellicott City.

An Arbutus man was indicted on several charges after he reportedly stabbing a "longtime friend” outside of an Ellicott City bowling alley last month, according to court documents.  On May 21, Andre Lamont Mitchell, 29, of the 5600 block of Selford Rd., was at the Brunswick Zone bowling alley on the 8400 block of Baltimore National Pike with 31-year-old Troy Eldrige Hardy when, according to a statement given to police, the two got into an argument. Hardy, who described Mitchell as a "longtime friend," said that the two then went outside and the argument turned physical when Mitchell pulled out a knife, police said.
