Yumm-O! Really fresh sandwiches and all are prepared when you order. Ain't no deli meats here...all carved meats! They just opened a dining area today as well and it is beautiful! So treat yourself to some good sandwiches. You won't be disappointed!

Heister's Grill is a locally owned and operated restaurant that offers take-out orders. Its menu specializes in moderately priced gourmet sandwiches and homemade soups. Dessert is also offered on the menu. The sandwiches are made with hand sliced-meat and come with pasta salad and a pickle on the side. Breads come from the Art and Cake bakery across the street. Leslie Heisse is the owner of Heister's Grill. She opened the restaurant to provide the Arbutus community with a unique and more upscale choice of take-out food besides what is typically available in the area.

Can't get a better sandwich anywhere in Arbutus!!!!!! So fresh and good, I've had almost everything on the menu and loved it all. Do yourself a favor and try it out, I'm sure you'll be a fan!!! : )
I've eaten here 4 times. The food is phenomenal. Juicy hand carved meats. Fresh veggies - crisp onions and lettuce. Ample portions. Everything is priced right, their homemade soup is like $4 for a 16 oz container. If you like avocado get the kobb sandwich, it's fresh and they give you a ton. The ham and macaroni n cheese sandwich smokes anything I've seen come out of the Grilled Cheese & co. Hands down best food I've eaten to come out of any restaurant in Arbutus, Catonsville or Ellicott City - probably in the city to boot. Definitely worth the hike.
