Members of Catonsville Rails to Trail worked over the weekend to clear brush and widen the Short Line Trail, which snakes through Paradise across Maiden Choice Lane, past Baltimore National Cemetery to the recesses deep behind Charlestown Retirement Community.
The work involved chain saws, a chipper, a variety of cutting tools and a voluminous dumpster.
"Tools are awesome," said Frank Phillips, an 8th grader at Arbutus Middle School.
