This afternoon, county executive Kevin Kamenetz is honoring 47 volunteers nominated by recreation council and nature centers, including several from this neighborhood: Eric Knott from Baltimore Highlands, William Brophy from Lansdowne-Riverview, and Matthew Kuhn from Arbutus.
, at 1403 Sulphur Spring Road, will begin selling guitars, amps, cords and strings and other musical equipment.
Lansdowne Improvement Association meets this evening at 7 p.m. at the Sisters Academy, 139 First Street in Lansdowne.
