The market will be serve residents of Arbutus, Lansdowne and surrounding communities every Wednesday from noon to 4 p.m.

A new farmer's market opens today from noon to 4 p.m. at the pavilion at the Jenkins Senior Living Campus at the corner of Benson and Caton avenues in Violetville near the campus of St. Agnes Hospital, according to the Baltimore Sun.

The market will be open every Wednesday from today to October, serving the residents on the Jenkins campus as well as the neighboring communities in southwestern Baltimore County.

The Violetville market will begin with four farmers—Cherry Hill Urban Farm from Baltimore City, Rebecca's Organic Garden from Columbia, Pine Grove Farms from Federalsburg and Martin's Family Herb Farms from Rosedale, event organizer Nate Sweeney told the Sun.

"We are keeping things kind of raw, agricultural products," Sweeney told the paper. "Less of the restaurant style or takeaway places."
