ASA/USA National Identification Program powered by Softball Factory

The ASA/USA Softball National Identification Program, powered by Softball Factory, will take place in Baltimore, MD on Sunday, August 26th, 2012 at the University of Maryland Baltimore County’s Softball Stadium. All athletes ages 13-18 are encouraged to attend. Players are asked to report to the field at noon for registration, and the event is scheduled to begin at 1 pm. The registration fee is $99. During this event with Softball Factory, the Official Scouting Partner of ASA/USA Softball, players will take part in a workout where they will perform for Softball Factory coaches who will evaluate them on speed, pitching, hitting and defense. Select players from the event will qualify for Softball Factory player development programs such as the Softball Factory World Series, the Maryland Select Training, and the Ronald McDonald Softball Tournament.  These events have been created to help players in their development as they move forward towards college. In addition, Softball Factory will provide players with tools to help families navigate the college recruiting process. 

After the event, all player evaluations will be submitted to ASA/USA Softball for consideration in their Junior National Team selection pool.  This is a great opportunity for players to get on the selection committee’s radar as they plan ahead for future USA Softball Junior National Teams.
