Baltimore Ravens rookie running back Lorenzo Taliaferro was arrested on two misdemeanors over the Memorial Day weekend, reports The Baltimore Sun, making him the team’s fourth player to face criminal charges since the season ended.

Taliaferro was charged with being drunk in public and destruction of property on Saturday in his hometown of Williamsburg, VA, according to the Virginia Gazette. He attended Bruton High School.

According to the Sun, a police officer overheard cursing from a group getting out of a cab about 1:15 a.m. Saturday. Taliaferro allegedly broke a window in the taxi.

Police charge that Taliaferro left the scene, but officers found him nearby and he was arrested without incident.

Picked by the Ravens in the fourth round of the NFL Draft earlier this month, Taliaferro is the fourth Baltimore player to be arrested during the current offseason, reports SBNation.

Other Ravens in trouble with the law are running back Ray Rice, who faces assault charges for reportedly punching his wife and knocking her out at a New Jersey casino; wide receiver Deonte Thompson recently had Florida drug charges against him dropped; and offensive lineman Jah Reid faces two battery charges after a Key West bar fight.

Taliaferro recently signed a four-year contract worth $2.52 million that includes a $300,584 signing bonus, says CBS Sports

Why aren't these clowns being suspended for several games? It works for the Steelers, why not the Ravens.

Another low character bozo hand-picked by a classless organization. And they're constructing a statue to permanently glorify an illiterate turd who was charged with two counts of murder. It's another great day to be a Steelers fan.
