Soroptimist International of Arbutus will be honoring our Woman's Opportunity Award winners, Ms. Sunshine King and Ms. Michelle Cunningham on Thursday, April 24th at Snyder's Willow Grove.
We will also be recognizing Ms. Caitlyn McElroy, a high school junior, for her extensive volunteer service efforts with the Violet Richardson Award.
The Women's Opportunity Award provides a cash award to recognize a head of household woman working to improve the status of her family through educational efforts.
The Violet Richardson Award honors a girl 14-17 years of age who is an active volunteer in her community.
