How to Turn the U. S. Economy Around in Six Easy Steps

How to turn the U. S. economy around in six easy steps:

1.  End NAFTA and our WTO trade agreements.  What can be made in the United States should be made in the United States.  Is there any reason we shouldn't be making the televisions and laptop computers that we are buying?

2.  Instead of trying to give every child a college degree, start educating some in the trades that will return to this county when we end NAFTA and our WTO trade agreements.

3.  Encourage labor unions.  The only way for the middle class to afford to buy the things they make is if they can afford the things they make.  Unions equal a strong middle class.

4.  Create a national health service or just make Medicare our national health plan.  If people know they have health insurance as a right and not a privilege, they will be encouraged to take risks and start small businesses or move to jobs that they may want to do instead of jobs they have to do. 

5.  Begin a serious campaign to end illegal immigration into our country.  How do we do that?  Attack the problem at the source - charge and convict any business that is knowingly hiring illegal immigrants.

6.  End the Bush tax cuts for the top tier.
