Whiz Kid: Logan McNaney

Name: Logan McNaney

School: Lansdowne High School

Accomplishments: A junior at Lansdowne with a 4.21 GPA, McNaney is consistently ranked in the top 10 percent of his class. He was recognized as the Most Valuable Player on the cross country team in the 9th, 10th and 11th grade. McNaney also is a member of the indoor track team where he has been recognized with the Sportsmanship Award.Β  He volunteers at the Second English Lutheran Church as an usher and website designer.

This month, McNaney was appointed by Gov. Martin O'Malley appointed him as the student member of the Baltimore County Board of Education.
