Arbutus Prom Wear Drive Expands to County Girls

The group organizing the effort on Friday announced the expansion on its Facebook page.

The Arbutus Improvement Association's prom season formalwear drive is expanding to all Baltimore County students.

The drive, which the association posted about in Local Voices in February, was originally meant to support high school juniors and seniors at Landsdowne and Catonsville high schools.

But in a post Friday on the drive's Facebook page, organizers said that because donations "have exceeded our expectations," the group is opening it to all county high school students.

The drive is open to the first 150 girls who register via the form provided on their Facebook page.
