Woman Robbed on Wilkens Avenue

A group of armed youths took her purse containing money and credit cards, police said.

 

A woman was robbed at gunpoint by a group of teenagers while walking to her apartment on the 4300 block of Wilkens Ave. in Arbutus on April 4, according to police.

The incident happened at around 10:49 p.m., police said. As the woman was walking home, she was approached by five juvenile black males. At least one of the suspects had a handgun, according to police.

The suspects took a purse containing various credit cards, $1,000 in cash, an iPhone, a black shirt and keys, police said. The shirt and keys were later recovered, police said.

According to police, the suspects were described as 12 to 15 years old wearing black and green hooded shirts.
