Two Arrested in Baltimore Highlands Robbery

Baltimore City woman assaulted and robbed Feb. 25 on Annapolis Road.

Two Baltimore Highlands residents were arrested in the Feb. 25 assault and robbery of a Baltimore City woman, police said.

Antonio Stephen Adams, 31, and Leatrice Denise Brooks, 35, both of the 4000 block of McDowell Lane in Baltimore Highlands, were charged with robbery and second-degree assault, according to officials.

According to police, at around 7:49 a.m., a 31-year-old woman was on the 4300 block of Annapolis Road when she was physically held down by Brooks and Adams. Brooks took the victim's wallet and removed $23 before giving the wallet back and driving from the scene with Adams, police said.
