Trial Postponed for Second Woman in Walmart 'Bleach Brawl'

Ebony Michelle Odoms of Reisterstown faces charges in the Oct. 8, 2011 alleged assault.

 

On the same day that Walmart "bleach brawl" participant Theresa Monique Jefferson pleaded guilty to second-degree assault, a trial for Ebony Michelle Odoms on charges in the incident was postponed, according to court records.

Jefferson, 33, of the 2900 block of Lakebrook Circle in Lansdowne, was given a five-year suspended sentence and five years of probation. She was also ordered to stay away from Odoms and Walmart for five years.

, on the morning of Oct. 8, 2011, Jefferson followed Odoms into the Walmart store in the 3600 block of Washington Blvd.  Jefferson has a child who was fathered by Odoms' boyfriend, Calvin Pannell.

, police said. Jefferson allegedly poured bleach and Pine Sol on Odoms, producing noxious fumes that sent 19 people to the hospital.

Odoms' trial was rescheduled for June.
