Toppled Truck Closes Inner Loop Beltway
Overturned load of construction materials blocked all inner loop lanes.
An overturned tractor trailer spilled construction supplies across all three lanes of the I-695 beltway near Washington Boulevard in Lansdowne Thursday afternoon, shutting down the roadway to all westbound traffic.
The incident happened at around 12:41 p.m., according to Maryland State Police.
The tractor trailer, carrying scaffolding, wood and other building materials, came to rest on its side near the entrance ramp from Washington Boulevard, south of I-95.

There were no injuries from the incident, according to state police.
