Suspect Arrested in Arbutus Robbery

Few details released about Tuesday afternoon crime.

One person was arrested by Baltimore County police in relation to a robbery that was reported at around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday on the 1400-block of Sulphur Spring Road in Arbutus.

Police officials said that a male suspect was taken into custody but has not yet been charged.

Officers at Precinct 1/Wilkens declined to release a report about the incident and declined to explain why information in a public record was withheld.

Officer Rachel Aiosa said that the incident is under investigation and referred media inquiries to police headquarters in Towson.

County police spokesperson Lt. Robert McCullough initially said that the report about the incident may "hopefully" be released Thursday afternoon.
