Riverview Man Charged With Attempted Burglary

A 22-year-old Riverview man was among two people charged with attempted burglary for a Sept. 28 incident in Arbutus, according to a police report.

At around 10:50 p.m., Victor Anthony Brooks and a juvenile whose identity has not been disclosed by the police attempted to break into Diamond Wholesalers on the 5300 block of East Drive in Arbutus, the report said.

According to police, Brooks and his accomplice broke the window of the business, but were unsuccessful in gaining entry.

The suspects were found during a search of the area by police, according to the report.

Brooks, of the 900 block of Bero Rd., and the juvenile were charged with fourth-degree burglary and malicious destruction of property, the report said.

He looks like the rest of the pond scum that floats around downtown Arbutus. His father and half brothers have probably pillaged Riverview of everything and moved on to the next neighborhood. Instead of having to feed a parking meter to park a car in the Arbutus downtown, how about installing a meter to allow hanging around the street corners and bus stops in the area. The county would make a mint on that. Only about half of those scum on the bus bench are waiting for the bus.
