Rambo Court Homicide Suspect Arrested in Alabama

A Lansdowne man has been charged in Mobile County, AL, with first-degree murder in the death of 18-year-old Ryan Wesley Jackson, according to Baltimore County police.

Larry Eugene Horton, 37, of the 700 block of Rambo Court, is being held pending extradition to Baltimore County, police said.

Jackson, of the 3600 block of West Bay Avenue in Brooklyn Park, . He had been reported missing by his girlfriend on Oct. 14.

Jackson reportedly vanished after telling his girlfriend that he was going to visit friends on the 700 block of Rambo Court in Lansdowne--an address the victim's father described as a known drug house.

On Oct. 15., members of Jackson's family visited the Rambo Court address and contacted police after observing blood inside the residence. Horton was arrested Oct. 19.

Jackson had been struck several times with a hatchet, according to police.

According to police, the investigation found that Horton had fled to Alabama. Baltimore County police coordinated with Alabama law enforcement officials to arrest Horton.
