Police Blotter: Thieves Targeting Batteries

The following is based on information provided by Baltimore County Police Department.

July 16: At some point since 6 p.m. on July 13, an unknown person cut the fence of a business on the 3200 block of Sulphur Spring Road in Arbutus and took eleven forklift batteries.

July 16: At some point since 10 p.m. on July 14, an unknown person forced open the front door of a residence on the 2400 block of Tionesta Rd. in Lansdowne and took two video game systems.

July 16: At some point since 8 p.m. on July 15 ,an unknown person broke a fence and rear storm door of a residence on the 3900 block of Myrtle Ave. im Lansdowne, but was unable to gain entry.

July 17: At some time since 5 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person entered the parking lot of a business on the 1400 block of Parker Rd. in Halethorpe and removed the battery from a truck.

July 17: Between 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., an unknown person pushed in an air conditioning unit to gain entry to a residence on the 300 block of Bigley Avenue in Lansdowne and took two laptop computers and jewelry.

July 18: At some point since 3 p.m. on July 13, an unknown person cut a hole in the fence of a business on the 1600 block of Knecht Ave. in Arbutus and took three batteries from a truck.

July 18: At some point since 9:30 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person forced open the window of a residence on the 4100 boock of Twin Circle Way in Baltimore Highlands and took a laptop computer.

July 18: Between 2:30-5:30 p.m., an unknown person forced open the front door of a residence on the 2900 block of Laklebrook Circle in Lansdowne and took a television set, two video games, a DVD player, laptop computer, money and clothing.

July 19: At some time since 7:30 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person entered a yard on the 3200 block of Ryerson Circle in Riverview and cut a lock on a shed near a residence, but nothing was taken.

July 21: At around 10:30 p.m., an unknown person entered a residence on the 900 block of Calwell Rd. in Arbutus by pushing an air conditioning unit in through a rear window. Once inside, the suspect took a video game system and money.
