Police Blotter: Sheds Hit for Tools

The following is based on information from Baltimore County Police Department.

May 7: At some time since 9 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person cut the lock on a shed behind a residence on the 4900 block of Linden Ave., in Halethorpe and took a go kart.

May 7: At some time since May 2, an unknown person entered a townhouse on the 2700 block of Virginia Avenue in Baltimore Highlands and took a video game system and a thermostat cover.

May 9: At some time since 6 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person broke the hinge from a shed at a residence on the 2900 block of Tennessee Ave. in Baltimore Highlands and took a leaf blower, motor oil, pressure washer, chain saw, weed trimmer and gas cans.

May 9: At some time since 6 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person entered an unsecured shed on the 2900 block of Tennessee Ave. in Baltimore Highlands and took a snowblower.

May 9: At some time since 4 p.m. the previous afternoon, an unknown person cut the lock on a shed by a residence on the 2900 block of Lousiana Ave. in Baltimore Highlands and took a tile cutter, tree saw, nail finisher, air gun, car charger, carpet cleaner and a tool box.

May 10: At some time since May 4, an unknown person pried open a storage unit door of an apartment building on the unit block of Silerton Rd. in Lansdowne and took an air compressor and a shop vacuum.

May 11: At some time since 8:30 a.m. on May 9, an uinknown person cut the lock to a shed on the 2700 block of Yarnell Rd. in Baltimore Highlands and took a electric drill, a power washer, nail gun and a mitre saw.

May 11: At some time since 10 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person entered a yard on the 300 block of 4th Ave. in Lansdowne, cut the hasp from a shed and took an air compressor, nail gun, sawsall, saw, two drills, a leaf blower and a weed trimmer.

May 11: At some time since 10:30 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person cut the latch of a shed door on the 100 block of Howard Ave. in Lansdowne. The shed was empty, and nothing was taken.

May 12: Between noon and 1:30 p.m., an unknown person gained entry to a yard on the 5500 block of Ashbourne Rd. in Arbutus and stole two pieces of copper tubing attached to the air conditioning unit.

May 12: Between 3 and 10:30 p.m., and unknown person gained entry to a residence on the 4300 block of McDowell Lane in Baltimore Highlands through an unlocked back door and took a video game system, camera, wedding band and two rings, two earrings, bracelets with diamonds and $80 in change. 

May 13: At around 7:20 p.m., a resident on the 3200 block of Ryerson Circle in Riverview observed a man approach a neighbor's house, cut the copper pipe off an air conditioning unit, fold the pipe and walk away toward Riverview Elementary School.
