Police Blotter: Man Arrested for Attempted Burglary

The following information is provided by Baltimore County Police Department.

April 24: A Baltimore man was arrested for attempting to break into a residence on the 3100-block of Freeway in Riverview. According to police, Daniel Lamont Wise, 36, of the 3000-block of Huron Street, was arrested after being observed attempting to gain entry by kicking and prying the front door. Wise is described by police as the brother of the victim's boyfriend. Wise was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree burglary.

April 25: At around 9 a.m., an unknown person pried open the door to a residence on the 2900-block of Lakebrook Circle in Lansdowne and took a television set.

April 26: Between 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m., an unknown person gained entry to a residence on the 1800-block of Fairview Avenue in Halethorpe through a side door and took a television and a gold bracelet.

April 26: At some time since noon on April 24, an unknown person cut the side fence of a storage lot on the unit-block of Alco Place in Arbutus and took a green snowblower.

April 26: Between 5:30 and 7 p.m., an unknown person pried open the rear bedroom window of a residence on the 2400-block of Tionesta Road in Lansdowne. The residence was ransacked and about $5 in change was taken.

April 26: An unknown suspect took two air conditioning units from a business on the 1500-block of Sulphur Spring Road in Arbutus.

April 27: Between 2 and 5 p.m., an unknown suspect attempted to break into a residence on the 2900-block of Hammonds Ferry Road in Lansdowne by breaking a front window and moving a computer near the window. Entry was not gained into the home.

April 28: At some time since 6 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person attempted to break into a snowball stand on the 3800-block of Hollins Ferry Road in Lansdowne by cutting a lock and screen.

April 28: At some time since 10:30 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person entered the rear yard of a residence on the 3000-block of Alabama Avenue in Baltimore Highlands and took two red and black mountain bikes.
