Police Blotter: Burglaries in the Area

The following is based on information provided by Baltimore County Police Department.

Aug. 6: At some time since 8 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person broke into a shed near a residence on the 2100 block of Gaylawn Dr. in Lansdowne and stole a dirt bike.

Aug. 7: Between 7:30-10 a.m., an unknown person removed a window air conditioner unit to gain entry to a residence on the 1800 block of Fairview Ave. in Halethorpe and took a digital camera.

Aug. 7: Between 3 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., an unknown person entered a residence on the 2500 block of Virginia Ave. in Baltimore Highlands by an unknown means and took two computers, two video game systems, a television set and two dogs. All of the doors and windows of the residence were locked.

Aug. 8: At some time since 9 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person broke into a shed at Hillcrest Park and took food and beverages.

Aug. 9: Between 3-4:30 p.m., an unknown person entered a residence on the 4400 block of John Ave. in Violetville and took a television set, iPod and various tools.

Aug. 10: At some point since Aug. 3, an unknown person cut the lock of a storage area of a residence on the 900 block of Elm Ridge Rd. in Arbutus and took two gas cans.

Aug. 11: At some point since 11 a.m. on Aug. 4, an unknown person attempted to enter a residence on the 5100 block of Westland Blvd. in Arbutus by cutting a window screen and breaking the glass, but did not gain entry.

Aug. 12: At some time since 11 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person entered a yard on the 1100 block of Circle Dr. in Arbutus and took two all-terrain vehicles, which were recovered and returned to the owner.

Aug. 12: At some time since Aug. 6, an unknown person entered a vacant home on the 3700 block of Baltimore St. in Baltimore Highlands and took copper wiring and various tools.

Have you posted anything about the tire slashings and vandalism throughout Arbutus lately? I'm curious if anyone has been caught.
