Police Blotter: Dog Deters Baltimore Highlands Burglary

The following is based on information provided by Baltimore County Police Department.

July 22: At some time since 8 p.m. on July 18, an unknown person entered a vacant residence on the 5500 block of Ashbourne Rd. in Arbutus and destroyed an air conditioning unit, rear kitchen window, two basement doors, ceiling tiles and wall panels. Nothing was stolen.

July 25: At some point since 8 p.m. of the previous evening, an unknown suspect entered the yard of a residence on the 2900 block of Pennsylvania Ave. in Baltimore Highlands and took a dirt bike after cutting the chain that had been securing it.

July 25: Between 11:50 a.m. and 1 p.m., an unknown suspect broke a window and unlocked the front door of a residence on the 2800 block of Louisiana Ave. in Baltimore Highlands, but did not enter due to the presence of a dog in the home.

July 26: Between noon and 3:30 p.m., an unknown person gained entry to a residence on the 5500 block of Link Ave. in Arbutus and took three watches.
