Police Blotter: Hungry Jewelry Bandit Strikes Baltimore Highlands Home

The following is based on information provided by Baltimore County Police Department.

May 20: Between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., an unknown suspect used an unknown device to unlock a door and gain entry to a residence on the 2700 block of Yarnall Rd. in Baltimore Highlands. Once inside, the suspect took a gold necklace with a diamond pendant, four gold rings, a digital camera, Cup O'Noodles, Swiss Cake rolls and Golden Graham bars. A hat was found at the scene that does not belong to the victim. There was no sign of forced entry.

May 21: At some point since May 18, an unknown person cut a fence of a business on the 4000 block of Coolidge Ave. in Violetville and took a surveillance camera and portable trailer steps.

May 21: Between 4-5 p.m., an unknown person entered a property on the 2200 block of Sulphur Spring Rd. in Lansdowne and took an edger and a weed trimmer.

May 21: At some time since May 19, an unknown person removed copper pipe from a refrigerator compresser unit next to a building on the 1300 block of Linden Ave., in Arbutus.

May 21: Shortly after midnight, an unknown suspect broke through the rear wall of a liquor store on the 4300 block of Hollins Ferry Road in Riverview. Once inside, the syspect smashed a cash register and took money.

May 21: At some time since May 18, an unknown suspect entered a yard on the 4300 block of Pistorio Rd. in Halethorpe and took seven tractor batteries and various tools.

May 22: At some time since 11 p.m. the previous night, an unknown person entered a yard on the 900 block of Imperial Court in Riverview and took a red and black Mongoose bicycle.

May 24: At some time since 5:05 p.m. the previous day, an unknown person entered a garage on the 2100 block of Alletta Ave. in Lansdowne by removing a small window and took a black BMX bicycle.

May 24: At some time since 4 p.m. the previous day, an unknown person took a weed trimmer and a drill bit set from a shed on the 3100 block of Ryerson Cir. in Riverview.

May 24: A some time since 5 p.m. the previous day, an unknown person entered the lot of a county maintenance facility on the 4800 block of Hollins Ferry Rd. in Halethorpe and opened an unlocked vehicle. A flat tire kit from the vehicle was taken, and the tire iron used to attempt to break into a soda machine.

May 24: At some time since May 19, an unknown person entered a fenced yard on the 3700 block of Century Ave. in English Consul, cut the locks off two sheds, and took lawn equipment and power tools.

May 24: At some time since 8 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person took a nailgun, leaf blower, air compresser, Sawzall, power drill, chopsaw and blades with a total value of $2,180 from an unlocked shed on the 3700 block of Century Ave. in English Consul.

May 24: Between 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., an unknown person entered a residence on the 3600 block of Century Ave. in English Consul and took a video game system, money, a laptop computer and charger, and a sold solitaire engagement ring. The residence was locked, with no signs of forced entry an unknown point of entry.

May 24: At some time since 10:30 p.m. on May 22, an unknown suspect entered a residence on the 4100 block of Twin Circle Way in Lansdowne and took a laptop computer and iPod charger.

May 26: At some time since 5 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown suspect cut a lock to open a plastic shed at the rear of a residence on the 3100 block of Ryerson Cir. in Riverview and took a weed trimmer.

May 26: At some time since 5 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown suspect kicked in the rear door of a residence on the 700 block of Fifth Ave. in Riverview and took a 55" television and a video game system.

May 26: At about 2:40 a.m., an unknown suspect broke through a glass block in the rear of a day care center on the 4600 block of Annapolis Rd. in Baltimore Highlands. While the suspect gained entry to the building, nothing was taken.

May 26: At 10:22 p.m., an unknown suspect walked through a front gate and onto the front porch of a residence on the 300 block of Bigley Ave in Lansdowne and took a Trek mountain bike after breaking the lock.

May 27: At some time since 6 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown suspect cut the lock to a shed behind a residence on the 3100 block of Freeway Ave. in Riverview and took a Mongoose BMX bicycle.
