Police Blotter: Burglary Arrests

Three Arbutus Men Arrested in Relay Burglary

Three men were arrested on Nov. 3 and charged with burglary after being observed walking into a fenced-in property on the 700-block of Woodland Drive with the intent to steal scrap metal.

Police observed a vehicle in the area and questioned the occupants. Tools were found in the trunk of the car.

Arrested were Daniel Vincent Dillion, 29, of the 1800-block of Superior Avenue, and Ryan Michael Fitzgerald and Derrick Todd Fitzgerald, both 19 and of the 1800-block of Clark Boulevard. All have been charged with fourth-degree burglary, according to police.

Baltimore Highlands Man Stabbed by Sister

A man who walkd into Anne Arundel Medical Center on Nov. 5 reported that he had been stabbed by his sister on the unit block of Hummingbird Court in Baltimore Highlands. Charges had not yet been filed against the 22-year-old woman

Man in Custody After Kicking Door

Police arrested a 19-year-old man on Nov. 3 after an altercation while visiting acquaintances on the 1000-block of Maiden Choice Lane in Arbutus. According to police, when Garrett Nathan Walters was asked to leave, he exited the door of the residence and proceeded to kick in the front door. He then fled on foot.

Walters, of no fixed address, was charged with fourth-degree burglary.

Burglaries in the Area

Nov. 2: Bwteen 5-7 a.m., an unknown person entered a vacant house on the 4700-block of Hollins Ferry Road and stole HVAC equipment and copper pipes.

Nov. 3: At some time since Oct. 13, an unknown person entered a yard on the 3000-block of Alabama Avenue in Baltimore Highlands and took a saw, weed cutter and a shotgun from an umlocked shed.

Nov. 3: At 6:30 a.m., the front window of a business on the 3900-block of Hollins Ferry Road in Riverview was discovered shattered. An inspection of the interior of the business showed that items had been removed from shelves and thrown on the floor. It was unknown whether anything was stolen.

Nov. 4: At some time between 5-8:30 p.m., an unknown person entered an unsecured fenced rear yard on the 900-block of Maiden Choice Lane in Arbutus and took a red Schwinn bicycle.

Nov. 5: At some time between 4:40-9:30 p.m., an unknown person entered a residence on the 4000 block of Twin Circle Way in Baltimore Highlands through an unlocked rear door and took a television set, a GPS device, video camera and an undetermined amount of cash.
