Police Blotter: Burglaries in the Area
The following is based on information from Baltimore County Police Department.
Feb. 6: Between noon and 2 p.m., an unknown person removed molding and a glass pane from the rear door of a residence on the 120-block of Leeds Terrace in Arbutus. Once inside, the suspect searched through desk drawers. Nothing was taken, and the door was left open.
Feb. 6: At around 12:45 p.m., a suspect entered a property on the 1800-block of Arbutus Avenue in Halethorpe and took an air conditioning unit, copper pipe, and a tire and rim.
Feb. 6: At around 2:30 p.m., an elderly woman on the 2800-block of Illinois Avenue in Baltimore Highlands invited a neighborhood acquaintance into her home who said he was sick and needed water. While inside the residence, the acquaintance stole $17 worth of coins and fled.

Feb. 7: At around 1:30 p.m., three unknown suspects entered the parking lot of a business on the 4500-block of Annapolis Road and attempted to remove 100 feet of 1-inch nails. The suspects were approached by a witness and returned the property. The suspects were decribed as two white males, one 30-35 years old and the other 50-55 years old, both about 5'9" and 150 pounds, both wearing gray sweatshirts and blue jeans. They were accompanied by a white female with no further description.
Feb. 9: At some time between 8:55 a.m. and 10 p.m., an unknown person forced open an entry door to an apartment on the 4300-block of Alan Drive in Arbutus and stole a laptop computer before fleeing in an unknown direction.
