Police Blotter: Burglaries in the Area

The following information is provided by the Baltimore County Police Department.

Dec. 19: At some time since Dec. 16, an unknown person parked on I-95 and cut through a fence to a construction site on the 1700-block of Twin Springs Road in Lansdowne and took a generator that had been chained to a trailer, copper and various tools.

Dec. 20: At around 6:45 p.m., an unknown person attempted to gain entry to a residence on the unit block of Elizabeth Avenue in Lansdowne by entering a garage and damaging a door leading to the kitchen, which set off an alarm.

Dec. 20: At some time since 4:30 p.m. the previous day, an unknown person entered a residence on the 2500-block of Virginia Avenue in Baltimore Highlands and took two televisions, an iPad, two video game systems and games, and miscellaneous jewelry, with a total value of about $3060.00.

Dec. 23: At some time since the previous day, an unknown person broke into a residence on the 3800-block of Songbird Circle in Baltimore Highlands and took a gold diamond engagement ring and a blue bowl. The suspect also took sheets off the bed, ate food, and ransacked a closet. No signs of forced entery was observed by police. 

Dec. 23: At around 1 p.m., a resident on the 3800-block of McDowell Lane in Baltimore Highlands returned home from a trip to the store and discovered that an unknown person took a television set and a computer.

Dec. 25: An unknown suspect kicked down the side door of an unattached garage adjacent to a residence on the 3500-block of Clover Avenue in Lansdowne and took four 20-inch rims, a welder, an in-dash radio and various tools.
