Police Blotter: Burglaries in the Area

The following information is provided by the Baltimore County Police Department.

Dec. 27: At around 7 a.m., an unknown white male cut a hole in a fence of a business on the 3900-block of Washington Boulevard and took scaffolding that was subsequently recovered. The suspect fled in an unknown direction in a red Trailblazer.

Dec. 28: At some time around midnight, an unknown person entered a residence on the 900-block of St. Charles Avenue in Arbutus and took $30 in coins and an iPad.

Dec. 28: At some time since Dec. 20, an unknown person entered the parking lot of Vehicles for Change on the 5200-block of Washington Boulevard and removed 24 catalytic converters from cars.

Dec. 29: At some point since around 10 p.m. on Dec. 28, an unknown person broke into a laundromat on the 4700-block of Westland Boulevard by smashing a glass front door and took a cash register containing $350.

Dec. 29: Sometime between 6 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., an unknown person broke into a residence on the 3700-block of Songbird Court in Baltimore Highlands and took a video game system and a television set.

Dec. 30: At some time since Dec. 23, an unknown person broke into a camper b cutting a hole in the fence of a business on the 2800-block of Hammonds Ferry Road in Lansdowne and took two generators and a television set.

Dec. 30: At around 1:35 p.m., six juveniles were arrested after entering a vacant home on the 3000-block of Freeway Avenue in Riverview by climbing a ladder and entering a second-floor window. All six were apprehended by police at the scene and released to their parents.

Dec. 31: Some time during the afternoon, an unknown person gained entry to a residence on the 100-block of Hazel Avenue in Lansdowne through a rear door and stole a .32 caliber revolver and a large amount of coins.

Jan. 2: At some point since Dec. 29, an unknown person entered the parking lot of a business on the unit-block of Azar Court in Violetville and took copper wire from the storage bins of several work trucks.
