Police Blotter: Burglaries in the Area

The following is based on information provided by Baltimore County Police Department.

Aug. 24: At 3:32 a.m., two suspects entered a yard on the 3100 block of Aspen Ct. in Riverview, removed a lock from a shed, and stole a bike and a 4-wheeler.

Aug. 31: At some time since 6 p.m. of the previous day, an unknown person cut the lock from a shed by a residence on the 3000 block of Maryland Ave. in Baltimore Highlands and took two weed trimmers and two gas cans.

Sept. 2: At some time since Aug. 20, an unknown person broke into a garage on the 3000 block of Maryland Ave. and took a generator, power washer and tools.

Sept. 2: For the second time in two successive nights, a business on the 1400 block of Joh Ave. in Violetville was targeted by burglars. At 7 a.m. on Sept. 1, it was discovered that an unknown suspect gained entry through delivery bay doors and stole stainless steel wire. On Sept. 2, a second attempt to break in through the delivery bay doors was discovered at 7:30 a.m. Entry was not gained and nothing was reported taken during the second incident.
