Police Blotter: Burglaries in the Area

The following is based on information provided by Baltimore County Police Department.

Aug. 19: Between 1:30-10:30 p.m., an unknown person broke into a residence on the 100 block of 2nd Ave., in Lansdowne and took a watch and two rings.

Aug. 20: At some time since Aug. 1, an unknown person forced open the back door of a residence on the 5500 block of Ashbourne Rd. in Arbutus and stole the parts from an air conditioning unit.

Aug. 20: At around 9:40 a.m., the ex-boyfriend of a resident on the 2900 block of Lakebrook Circle forced his way inter her apartment and took a 32-inch television set. Charges are pending against the suspect.

Aug. 20: At some time since 4 p.m. on Aug. 18, an unknown person entered the property of a business on the 2200 block of Monumental Rd. in Halethorpe and took batteries, extension cords and radiators.

Aug. 21: At 3:45 a.m., an unknown suspect cut a hole in the fence of a business on the 2200 block of Halethorpe Farms Rd. in Halethorpe and took aluminum wheel rims, a ramp and a heater core.

Aug. 22: At around 10:10 p.m., two suspects broke into a residence on the 4200 block of McDowell Ln. in Baltimore Highlands, but fled when seen by a witness. Nothing was stolen.

Aug. 23: At 8:34 p.m., an unknown suspect entered a fenced-in yard on the 5100 block of Westland Blvd. in Arbutus and took a mountain bike.

Aug. 24: At some point since Aug. 10, an unknown person attempted to break into a shed near a residence on the 3100 block of Aspen Ct. in Riverview. Three of four locks on the shed were cut, but nothing was taken from the shed.

Aug. 26: At some time since Aug. 20, an unknown person broke into a resdience on the 4400 block of Scotia Ave. in Baltimore Highlands and took four dirt bikes, a crossbow and a muzzle loader from the basement.

Aug. 26: At some time since Aug. 22, an unknown suspect broke into a residence on the 4300 block of McDowell Ln. in Baltimore Highlands by beaking a rear window. Nothing appeared to be taken.
