Lansdowne Man Charged in Linthicum Burglary

Daryl Paul Nagle, 24, of the 3100 block of Bero Road, faces charges from June 22 burglary of Jackson Hewitt Tax Services.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Lansdowne man on June 22 night in connection with the burglary of Jackson Hewitt Tax Services in Linthicum.

Daryl Paul Nagle, 24, of the 3100 block of Bero Road in Lansdowne, was charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree burglary, theft of less than $1,000 and other charges.

Officers responded to the tax business located in the unit block of Nursery Road at about 10:35 p.m. Friday for a reported burglary in progress, according to a police press release.

Officers spoke with a witness who said a man forced his way into the business and then was seen running from the store toward the intersection of Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard and Nursery Road carrying a desktop computer.

During a search for the man, police encountered a man walking north on Annapolis Road at Yarnall Road in Baltimore Highlands.

Police said he was carrying a desktop computer partially wrapped with a camouflage jacket. Officers detained Nagle, who was identified by the witness.

Police said they recovered the computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse.
