Lansdowne Man Charged in Attempted Armed Robbery

Timothy Alan Geisbert, 52, of 2200-block of Smith Avenue, arrested after failed Annapolis liquor store robbery.

A Lansdowne man was arrested Dec. 8 and charged with the attempted armed robbery of Woodman's Liquors on the 4000-block of Annapolis Road.

According to police, Timothy Alan Geisbert, of the 2200-block of Smith Avenue, walked through the front door of the liquor store at about 11:38 a.m., He reportedly pointed a black handgun at the owner and demanded money several times. When the owner said he was going to call the police, Geisbert fled the store.

Witnesses provided police with a description and tag numbers of the vehicle that Geisbert drove from the scene. Police located the vehicle and took Geisbert into custody.
