Jackson's body was found Oct. 15 in a wooded area in Curtis Bay.

Police declined to decribe the nature of Jackson's death except that his body had "visible traumatic injuries," Batton said. The Baltimore Sun reported that Jackson had been stabbed to death.

A search of court records showed that Jackson has a criminal record that includes a conviction on charges of carrying a concealed handgun and possession of marijuana. The address for Jackson's residence on court records is on the 3100-block of Freeway Road in Riverview, blocks away from Rambo Court.

Batton said that the investigation is ongoing.
