Why Go: There will be snacks and a take-home craft, all centered around environmental and patriotic themes!

Why Go: Register in advance for this weekly class for infants. Simple movement, music and story time are featured.

Where/When: Opie's at 1603 Edmondson Ave. in Catonsville on Friday, May 27, from 2:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, May 28, and Sunday, May 29, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Why Go: Take your family out for a frozen treat and enter to win everything you and your family need to host a crab feast this summer: the bushel of crabs is included too! The drawing will take place on Saturday, June 11, at the Catonsville Cornhole Challenge.

Where/When: River Hill High School at 12101 Clarksville Pike in Clarksville on Saturday, May 28, at 6 p.m.

Why Go: Celebrate a successful theater season at this fun event! Excerpts of 12 high school productions will be performed, plus a performance by The All County Improvisational Acting Troupe (ACI) and a special salute to the critic teams. Tickets need to be reserved in advance.

Ellicott City:

Why Go: You and your family can come out and see this brand new adult community and munch on some delicious barbecue. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Why Go: Ninth through twelfth graders can stay in tip-top shape this summer by signing up to play in these fun, casual basketball games.
