During the period June 3-June 10, AVFD received 65 calls for medical and fire-rescue service, including the following:

June 3: At 10:01 a.m., a fire alarm was reported on the 700 block of Maiden Choice Lane in Catonsville. AVFD responded and reset an alarm that had been accidentally set off by smoke from cooking.

June 4: At 11:53 a.m., a motor vehicle accident with rescue was reported on Wilkens Avenue at I-695. Crews from the AVFD and Halethorpe career station responded. One seriously injured person was rescued from the vehicle and transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

June 4: At 12:43 a.m., an unconscious person was reported on the 4200 block of Hollins Ferry Rd. in Lansdowne. Crews from the Lansdowne, Arbutus and English Consul volunteer stations responded. One seriously injury person was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

June 4: At 10:46 p.m., a motor vehicle accident involving a person who was not alert was reported on the 1200 block of Elmridge Avenue in Arbutus. Crews from the AVFD responded to find a vehicle that had struck a house, causing minor damage to the house. One seriously injured person was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

June 6: At 12:49 p.m., an overdose was reported on South Rolling Road at Metropolitan Boulevard in Arbutus. Crews from the AVFD responded and transported one seriously ill person to a local hospital.
