Fire-Rescue Log: Fall Injury at UMBC

During the period Oct. 7-14, AVFD received 58 calls for medical and fire-rescue service, including the following:

Oct. 8: At 9:57 a.m., a fall patient was reported on the 5700 block of Mineral Ave. in Halethorpe. Crews from the AVFD and Halethorpe career station responded. One person with non-life-threatening injuries was taken to a local hospital.

Oct. 9: At 9:11 a.m., an overdose patient was reported on the 200 block of Newburg Ave. in Catonsville. Crews from the AVFD and Catonsville career station responded. One seriously ill person was taken to a local hospital.

Oct. 10: At 1:59 a.m., a trouble breathing patient was reported on the 1200 block of Circle Dr. in Arbutus. Crews from AVFD responded. One seriously ill person was taken to a local hospital.

Oct. 10: At 2:04 p.m., a fall patient was reported at UMBC. Crews from AVFD responded. One person with non-life-threatening injuries was taken to a local hospital.

Oct. 13: At 8 p.m., a seizure patient was reported on the 2100 block of Southland Rd. in Woodlawn. Crews from AVFD responded. One critically ill patient was taken to a local hospital.
