Fire-Rescue Log: Injuries in Wilkens Avenue Crash

During the period July 22-29, AVFD received 53 calls for medical and fire-rescue service, including the following:

July 22: At 10:20 p.m., a motor vehicle accident with injury was reported on I-695 between Frederick Road and Edmondson Avenue. Crews from AVFD responded to find property damage only.

July 22: At 10:43 p.m., a motor vehicle accident with injury was reported on Wilkens Avenue at I-695. Crews from AVFD responded. One person with non-life-threatening injuries was taken to a local hospital.

July 24: At 9:30 a.m., an unconscious person was reported on teh 1200 block of Poplar Ave. in Arbutus. Crews from AVFD responded. One critically ill person was taken to a local hospital.

July 26: At 1:46 p.m., a truck fire was reported on the 4600 block of Wilkens Ave. in Arbutus. Crews from AVFD responded and extinguished the fire. 

July 26: At 3:36 p.m., an unconscious person was reported on the 3200 block of Bero Road in Lansdowne. Crews from AVFD responded. One critically ill person was taken to a local hospital.
