Ellicott City Teenager Shot

Police say a neighbor found the 15-year-old.

Howard County police are investigating the Tuesday night shooting of a teenager in Ellicott City.

According to police spokeswoman Sherry Llewellyn, a neighbor found the victim, a 15-year-old male from Baltimore County, in a field on the 11400 block of Frederick Road.

Police would not identify the teenager, who was flown to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and was listed in "critical but stable" condition Tuesday night, Llewellyn said.
