Baltimore County Police to Hold Promotion Ceremony

The Baltimore County Police Department will hold a promotion ceremony at 10 a.m. June 5, at the Dundalk campus of The Community College of Baltimore County.

Police Chief James Johnson is scheduled to present certificates to the department members being promoted, according to a statement. The oath of office will be administered by Clerk of the Circuit Court Julie Ensor, and the invocation and benediction will be offered by the Rev. Paul Palazzi, police chaplain.

Sgt. Kenneth J. Busic, who will be promoted to lieutenant, Cpl. Michael R. Keller, who will be promoted sergeant, and Ofc. Thomas J. Morehouse, who will be promoted to corporal, will be reassigned to Wilkens Precinct 1.

Seventeen officers are scheduled to be promoted at the ceremony. The entire list can be viewed on the department's website.
