Recent activity of Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department.

During the period January 27-February 3, the AVFD received 79 calls for medical and fire-rescue service, including the following:

 Arbutus
Feb. 3. At around 10:01 p.m., a dangerous bleed was reported on the 1100-block of Circle Drive. Crews from the AVFD responded and transported one seriously ill person to a local hospital.

Feb. 3. At around 1:42 a.m., a cardiac arrest was reported on the 4800-block of Fernley Square. Crews from the AVFD responded and transported one critically ill person to a local hospital.

Catonsville
Feb. 2. At around 1:02 p.m., a sick person was reported on the 400-block of Shadynook Avenue. Crews from the AVFD and Catonsville career stations responded. One critically ill person was transported to a local hospital.

Jan. 30. At around 3:03 p.m., a fall with imjury was reported at Brightview Assisted Living on the 900-block of South Rolling Road. Crews from the AVFD responded. One seriously injured person was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Westview
Feb. 1. At around 8:47 a.m., a fall with injury was repprted on the 900-block of Fordwood Court. Crews from the AVFD and Westview career stations responded. One seriously injured person was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
