During the period July 24-31, AVFD received 76 calls for medical and fire-rescue service, including the following:

July 24: At 11:58 p.m., a fall injury was reported on the 1200 block of Poplar Avenue in Arbutus. Crews from the AVFD responded and transported one seriously injured person to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

July 27: At 12:26 p.m., a cardiac arrest was reported on the 2900 block of Lakebrook Circle in Lansdowne. Crews from the Lansdowne, Arbutus and English Consul volunteer stations responded. One critically ill person was transported to a local hospital.

July 29: At 2:58 p.m., a heat exposure was reported on the 6500 block of Baltimore National Pike in Westview. Crews from the AVFD and Westview career station responded. One seriously ill person was transported to a local hospital.

July 29: At 10:35 p.m., a motor vehicle accident with injury was reported on the 6000 block of Baltimore National Pike in Catonsville. Crews from the AVFD and Catonsville career stations responded. One person with non-life-threatening injuries was transported to a local hospital.

July 29: At 11:57 p.m., an unknown medical problem was reported at Selford Road at Elm Road in Halethorpe. Crews from the AVFD responded and transported one person with a non-life-threatening illness to a local hospital.
