During the period June 2-9, AVFD received 85 calls for medical and fire-rescue service, including the following:

June 2: At 2:12 p.m., a motor vehicle accident with cardiac arrest was reported on Route 166 between Exits A and B in Arbutus. Crews from AVFD and Catonsville career station responded. One critically injured person was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

June 2: At 3:30 p.m., a brush fire was reported on the 1500-block of Sulphur Spring Road in Arbutus. Crews from AVFD responded and extinguished the fire.

June 3: At 8:46 a.m., a cardiac arrest was reported on the 1200-block of Sulphur Spring Road in Arbutus. Crews from the AVFD responded and transported one seriously ill person to a local hospital.

June 7: At 9:01 a.m., a motor vehicle accident with entrapment was reported on Eastbound I-70 between Exits 87-90 in Westview. Crews from the AVFD and Catonsville and Westview career stations responded. Three seriously injured people were rescued from the vehicle and transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
