Arbutus Man Charged in Burglary

Mark Alan Lepson, 51, of 5600 block Oakland Rd. charged after burglary attempt, according to police.

An Arbutus man was arrested in Ellicott City over the weekend after being interrupted in an apparent burglary attempt, according to Howard County Police.

At about 9 a.m. on June 16, a homeowner on the 5000 block of Red Rome Way noticed someone in the garage, which had been left open, police said.

The suspect fled the scene in a car but was stopped and arrested, according to police.
