Arbutus Man Assaulted, Robbed on Selford Road

Victim, 19, walking home from work Jan. 10 when attacked near I-95 bridge.

A 19-year-old Arbutus man was assaulted and robbed on Selford Road while walking home from work on Jan. 10, according to police.

The victim, who walked from his job at McDonalds, arrived home at around 2:28 a.m. confused and bleeding from a scalp wound, police said. He was taken to a local hospital and admitted for treatment of head injury, according to police.

Police determined that at some point between midnight and 2:28 a.m. the victim was walking down Selford near the I-95 overpass and was struck on the back of the head with an unknown object.

After being hit on the head, the victim's black North Face jacket, iPhone and ear buds were stolen.
