Adult in Custody in Stabbing of 14-Year-Old in Lansdowne

A juvenile was stabbed in the neck. Police believe the victim will survive.

Baltimore County Police have taken an adult into custody in connection with the stabbing of a juvenile.

At 9:30 a.m., Baltimore County Police and Fire officials responded to a reported stabbing at a home in the 600 block of Washington Avenue in Lansdowne. When they arrived, they found a juvenile with a large stab wound in his neck, according to a press release. The victim is a 14-year-old male, according to Baltimore County Public Safety’s Twitter.

An adult male is in custody but has not been officially charged, police said.

The juvenile was transferred to the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and police believe he will survive, the release said.

The incident is still under investigation.
